How to edit TM90 AVCHD MTS Videos with Sony Vegas ?
Convert TM90 AVCHD to AVI and editing in Vegas
[AVCHD to AVI]import Panasonic TM90 AVCHD to Vegas for editing

Panasonic HDC-TM90 is an easy to use, feature ladden camera. Many AVCHD fans settle on the TM90 for its wide-angle, 60p and decent low-light capabilities. The TM90 makes a fine picture, but a problem is, Sony Vegas does not accept the 1080/60p AVCHD .mts shootings naturally. Vegas is still Sony-centric, to the detriment of other camera owners. It’s better to first convert the mts files to avi with an AVCHD Converter solution, and then import into Vegas. Here’s a quick guide for your reference.

First, copy .mts clips from the HDC-TM90 camera to your hard drive (without using software). And download and install an TM90 to Vegas Converter to your PC. AVCHD Converter is a full-featured tool for AVCHD camcorder owners, which can convert AVCHD videos (MTS, M2TS, TOD) to common videos including AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, MP4, RM, MOV, XviD, 3GP, FLV, SWF, and HD videos like MPEG-4 TS HD Video, MPEG-2 TS HD Video, Quick Time HD Video, WMV HD Video. Follow the steps below to complete TM90 AVCHD MTS to AVI video conversion.

Step 3. Click “Settings” to set appropriate type/frame rate/codec/etc. The AVCHD to AVI Converter lets you set video resolution (1920x1280/1280x720/720x480),compressive quality (10mpbs/8mbps/5mbps), frame rate, sample rate, audio channels, etc.

Step 4. Click “Convert” to start converting Panasonic HDC-TM90 AVCHD MTS to AVI format, the Adobe Premiere editable video format.
After converting Panasonic HDC-TM90 AVCHD MTS to AVI, press “Open” to find converted footage and you can then import HDC-TM90 AVCHD footage to Sony Vegas for post-production.
